Why Choose a CFP® Professional?
Most people think all financial planners and financial advisors are “certified”, but this isn’t true. Anyone with a basic securities or insurance license can put Financial Advisor on their business card. Only those who have fulfilled the certification and renewal requirements of the CFP® Board can display the CFP® certification trademarks which represent a high level of competency, ethics, and professionalism. And because they are held to a fiduciary standard of care, a CFP® Professional is required to act in your best interest.
I have 15 years’ experience in the financial services industry. I started my career in 2000 at Fidelity Investments, which is where I developed my passion for financial planning and helping clients. I chose to leave Fidelity Investments to work more directly with clients and be able to build relationships and increase my industry knowledge. I worked at a financial planning firm for over 10 years where I was involved with all aspects of client financial planning.
My desire to open Symmetry Wealth Management came from wanting to help clients and I chose United Planners as my Independent Investment Advisor and Broker-Dealer because they are Advisor owned, and allow me to use many investment platforms to help my clients achieve their goals. Service of my clients is of the utmost importance to me and I strive to make sure all my client’s needs are met. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, I have a fiduciary duty to my clients to make sure their needs come first.
Licenses held: Securities registrations through United Planners Financial Services (Series 7, 63, 65, and 24) and Life/Health and Disability insurance license.
